Next month will be my 70th birthday and 30th year managing diabetes without any major complications to speak of. I presently seem to be in a pretty good place in my life despite the turmoil going on in the surrounding world. The past ten years or so were pretty challenging for me as I previously mentioned, due to various calamities, the loss of both of my husbands and other close friends and family members. But I’m happy to still be here and surviving. Not sure for how much longer, but I plan on making the best of it. In fact, I plan on making the rest of my life the best of my life.
