I enjoy making beautiful decorative fruit tarts for my Pittsburgh area customers! Fruit tarts can be made in different patterns and configurations using various fruits and berries. I advise customers to select ones that work best for their particular blood sugar needs. These fruit tarts were made with a layer of pastry, a layer of sugar-free pastry cream, and a layer of fruit and berries. They are available sugar-free or with added sugar. The tarts are 8″ square and yield 8-10 servings. Here are a few I’ve designed for my customers.
