For the waffles, I took a traditional waffle recipe and swapped white whole wheat flour for the all-purpose flour called for in the recipe. I also swapped eggnog for the milk (I usually swap unsweetened almond milk for the dairy milk in my recipes), and added a tablespoon of vanilla, and one-half teaspoon of ground nutmeg. Delicious!
